Our Annual Gala is our largest event each year. Sponsorship opportunities are available for individuals and companies. Our past Galas have been host to over 350 people in attendance, with 140,000 was raised due to the generous support of many. We reached a milestone at our 2018 Gala by surpassing 1 million dollars in gross donations since inception in January 2014!

Events Committee Expectations
- Attend committee meetings
- Plan events
- Logistics
- Organizing and logging silent auction items
- Compiling online silent auction catalog
- Plan event agendas and timelines
- Set up prior to events
- Volunteer to help at events, including: greeter; check in; silent auction monitoring; selling raffle tickets; closing and distribution of silent auction items; break down and clean after events, etc.
Development Committee Expectations
- Attend committee meetings
- Assist in all fundraising activities, including:
- Obtaining sponsorships
- Obtaining silent auction items
- Assisting with grant writing
- Increasing donor base throughout Connecticut
